i'm excited about these guys as it kind of feels like a new category for me (kind of venturing into rug territory) — these bolivian textiles known as frazadas can be used as a picnic blanket, a throw at the foot of the bed, a decorative bedspread, or a rug. i think my favorite use for them is as a rug, as they're pretty heavy and substantial. (they're made to withstand the high-altitude chill of the andes where they originated).
there are seven styles, all totally one-of-a-kind of course. you can check them all out here! (can you tell i like pink? i guess the bolivians do too. my kinda people.)
